Tarator Salad

 Tarator salad is a side dish often prepared on the Balkans and there are many variations, but the most common is one with cucumber. This salad is served cold and sometimes even with ice during hot summer days. That is why Tarator salad is one of the most popular summer salads in that region. 

Ingredients:
  • 0.4 l sour cream 
  • 1 teaspoon salt 
  • 2 cloves garlic 
  • 0.4 kg cucumber 
  • 1 teaspoon oil
 Instructions:

1) Peel and chop garlic cloves
2) Wash, peel and slice cucumber
3) Take a bowl, add cucumber, garlic, salt, oil and sour cream.
4) Mix all the ingredients slowly and put Tarator salad in fridge for a while.
