 Lemon is listed in many recipes not only to add to taste but because of its health benefits. We all know it is recommended to take lemonade when we have a cold or the flu.   1. Fights against and prevents infection 
  2. Lowers blood pressure 
  3. Increases good cholesterol (HDL) 
  4. Anticancerogenic 
  5. Antioxidant 
  6. Preventing cardiovascular diseases 
  7. Helps in the production of antibodies and WBC 
  8. Gives a glow to skin 
  9. Prevents faulty metabolism 
  10. Purifies liver 
  11. Clears digestive system 
  12. Preventing cold 
  13. Lowers cholesterol 
  14. Whitening teeth 
  15. Preventing dehydration 
  16. Removes plaque 
  17. Helps with throat infection 
  18. Applied on acne dries them and prevents new to come out 
  19. Applied on insect bite relieves pain 
  20. Reduces colic pain 
  21. Reduces gastric problems 
  22. Lemon juice taken every day reduces asthma attacks
