Health Benefits of Avocado

 Avocado is a fruit native to Mexico and extremely popular in vegetarian cuisine. This fruit is not only tasty but also packed with vitamins and antioxidants. Avocado is often used as replacement for meat in sandwiches and as add on to milkshakes, ice creams and a number of other desserts. 

Health benefits of avocado:
  1. Rich in vitamins (A, B, C, E, K) 
  2. During pregnancy helps baby's brain development 
  3. Rich in minerals (iron, magnesium, potassium, copper, phosphorus) 
  4. Contains 30% more potassium than a banana 
  5. Rich in fiber and protein 
  6. Prevents prostate cancer 
  7. Regulate blood pressure 
  8. Keeping heart healthy 
  9. Prevents breast cancer 
  10. Anti inflammatory 
  11. Improves eye health 
  12. Regulate blood sugar levels 
  13. Slowing down the aging process 
  14. Keeps skin healthy 
  15. Helps with psoriasis 
  16. Prevents stroke 
  17. Lowers bad cholesterol level 
  18. Helps to gain weight (200 calories in 100 grams)
