Cinnamon is spice used around the world to add flavor to sweet but also savory food. Used even in ancient Greece, Egypt, Rome and India, this spice has been through centuries very important in preparing various dishes, but also used in medicine.

Health benefits of cinnamon:
  1. Lowers bad cholesterol if used 1/2 teaspoon a day
  2. Prevents blood clotting
  3. Lowers arthritis pain
  4. Smell improves memory
  5. Rich in iron, calcium, manganese and fiber
  6. Cure for cough and sore throat
  7. Helps with nausea
  8. Improves appetite
  9. Anti-inflammatory
  10. Cure for rheumatism
  11. Antispasmodic 
  12. Reduces stomach cramps 
  13. Cure for diarrhea 
  14. Helps with toothache if mixed with honey and applied to the aching tooth 
  15. Anticancerogenic 
  16. Antifungal 
  17. Helps with E. coli bacteria 
  18. Cure for headache 
  19. Removes bad breath 
  20. Remedy for diabetes
