Toothache is probably most annoying pain ever, gum pain can be hard to stand as well and blessed are those who never had such problem. We all have to deal with that pain at least once in our life, either as younger or older. That is the moment when we seek help from our dentist, or we grab first pack of pain killers available in our home. And why? Because we forget that mother nature has cure for all, and even for toothache.
What are home remedies for toothache and gum pain?
- Garlic (crush clove, mix with salt and apply on the affected tooth to reduce pain)
- Cloves (grind clove, add olive oil and apply on the affected tooth)
- Onion (chew raw onion to relieve the pain or place directly on the affected tooth or gum)
- Wheatgrass juice (use it as a mouthwash, it is antibacterial and relieves toothache)
- Ginger-cayenne paste (mix ginger and cayenne equal amounts, dip cotton ball in that and apply on the affected tooth avoiding gum and tongue)
- Salt water (boil teaspoon of salt in a cup of water and use it as a mouthwash, swish it for some 20-30 seconds and then spit it out)
- Mint tea (cold tea swish around your mouth for 20-30 seconds)
- Black tea (warm bag place near affected tooth, it reduces swelling and pain)
